The Incredible Vision StatementJesus gave an explicit vision statement for those that follow Him in His prayer in Gethsemane: "I'm
praying not only for them During His ministry, however, Christ expressed this in an ever stronger way implicity: "....the
blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured,
the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the
poor."
"I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have
been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going
to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the
Son may bring glory to the Father. "
How do you think the prayer in the Garden is related to these other two statements? What is your responsibility?
