  • The elderly need fun, too. They are creative when asked to help organize, fundraise, and provide entertainment!

  • Remember the old and the young in your plans. Put them together.

  • Do a fun dance! Gets you in shape for those service projects!

  • Keep your friends close. Communicate and share your dreams. Theirs will become yours and yours will become theirs
  • .
  • Do a little dance. Someone has to be first!
  • Share your life. Make plans. Dream big. You will be surprised at who will buy in.

  • Use your skills. Start with Rebuilding Together or Habitat for Humanity and other local organizations already in place.

  • You can have fun doing the simplest thing and it may become your new family portrait.
  • Take your favorite ride to the service event! Convertible tops down, too!

  • Wear your favorite costume to a service event.
  • While you're at the service event, entertain the kids there. Plan ahead for that.
  • Take along some extra fun to punch up the day at the end of your work. Silly string is always memorable!
  • Look for other ideas for a favorite ride to an event. Check the volunteer section of your newspaper.
  • Take someone that couldn't afford to attend your regular sport or hobby.
  • Teach someone your skills. Mentor a friend.
  • Rent a tool and use it to help the neighbors after a wind storm or spring clean up.
  • Make regular family dates for fun, dinner, game night, or sharing any non-tv event where you can talk about your dreams.
